another b-side post… the abeni logo was one that took some time to get it just right. the client had the colors set, but wanted a mark to represent their non-profit. however, what they do is a bit tricky. this is their mission: “Abeni exisits to create a safe, confidential place for those working in the Orange County sex trades, as well as those being domestically sex trafficked. We aim to be a present source of relevant, relational, and holistic support for those who are working or have worked in the adult entertainment industry.” how do you create a safe, confidential mark? well, i figured it could be best portrayed in a type face, rather than a mark…
here are some initial comps. i gave names to them as i was making them.
